Annoying seborrheic dermatitis

With the increase of environmental pollution, the emergence of new chemical materials, food and cosmetic additives, the rising pressure on people, the disruption of immune balance, and the influence of hormone levels, endocrine changes, and seasonal factors, the incidence of seborrheic dermatitis has skyrocketed. Seborrheic dermatitis, also known as seborrheic eczema, is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that occurs on the head, face, chest and back where there is a lot of seborrhea. The etiology and pathogenesis are not yet clear. It has been found that infection by pathogenic organisms such as Malassezia ovalis and Acinetobacter can cause changes in sebum composition (mainly increase in free fatty acids) and infectious metaplasia, resulting in inflammatory reactions in the skin. Mental, dietary, B vitamin deficiencies, and alcoholism can all affect the occurrence and development of the disease to varying degrees.
