What is the pathologic staging of seminomas?

Spermatogonia belongs to germ cell tumors among testicular tumors. According to the pathologic typing, it can be divided into spermatogonia classic type, spermatogonia type and mesenchymal type. 1. Spermatogonial cell tumor classic type: the tumor cells are round or polygonal, with clear cell borders. The cytoplasm is eosinophilic and translucent, the nucleus is centered, the chromatin is delicate, the nucleolus is clear, and the nuclear membrane is obvious. The cytoplasm of some cells was dichromatic, diffusely arranged in sheets, beams and nests, and the interstitium could be divided into branch-like fibrovascular segments. The interstitium can be divided into branched fibrovascular vessels. A large number of lymphocytes can be seen in the infiltration, and no obvious nuclear schizophrenia can be seen. 2. Seminoblastoma: the tumor cells are diffusely arranged in sheets and nests, with unequal cell sizes, some of which have vacuolated cytoplasm, and are composed of three kinds of cells: most of them are medium-sized cells, with eosinophilic cytoplasm and less interstitial stroma; the small cells are lymphocytes without obvious cytoplasm; and the large cells can be seen as multinucleated, with coarse chromatin and mycelium. No obvious lymphocytic infiltration, granulomatous reaction and nuclear schizophrenia. 3. Interstitial type: tumor cells are large, with partially translucent cytoplasm, large nuclei, coarse chromatin, ≥3 nuclear schizophrenia per high magnification field of view, arranged in sheets and beams, encroaching into the testicular network and vasculature, with scattered lymphocytic infiltration, accompanied by obvious hemorrhagic necrosis. Correctly determining the pathological type of seminomas is of great significance to the clinical treatment and prognosis of testicular tumors. Patients should improve the relevant examination with the help of doctors and carry out targeted treatment at an early stage.
