Pueraria lobata is white or yellowish before soaking in water, and after soaking in boiling water, the color will become transparent or slightly yellowish. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this powder is cool in nature, can raise the spleen and stomach clear yang qi and stop diarrhea and dysentery, produce fluids to quench thirst, but also good at relieving muscle fever, activate the meridians and channels, through the rash and alcohol poisoning. Combined with Acorus calamus and Descending Fragrance, it can treat chest paralysis (stuffy pain in the chest) caused by paralysis with phlegm and stagnation.
The combination of Pueraria Mirifica and Rhizoma Coptidis can enhance the efficacy of clearing heat and drying dampness to stop diarrhea and dysentery, and is effective in treating dysentery and diarrhea caused by dampness-heat internalized in the large intestine.
