Does Yosemite cause weight gain?

Yosemite, or drospirenone ethinyl estradiol tablets (II), does not usually cause weight gain.
Drospirenone Ethinyl Estradiol Tablet (II) is mainly used as a contraceptive and may also be used for the treatment of moderate common acne. Some patients taking drospirenone ethinyl estradiol tablets (II) may experience side effects such as headache, nausea, irregular uterine bleeding, nipple tenderness, and stroke, which generally do not cause patients to gain weight.
Hypoadrenalism, renal impairment, arterial thrombosis, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular, uncontrolled hypertension or acquired hypercoagulable disease should be prohibited to take drospirenone ethinyl estradiol tablets (Ⅱ).
Patients need to use medication under the guidance of a doctor, should not be unauthorized use of medication. If arterial or venous thrombosis occurs during the administration of Drospirenone Ethinyl Estradiol Tablets(Ⅱ), the patient should stop using the drug promptly.
