What causes low-grade squamous epithelial lesions?

Low-grade squamous epithelial lesions are overwhelmingly precancerous lesions caused by persistent high-risk HPV infection in the cervix, and this condition is recommended for clinical intervention. Although this low grade squamous epithelial lesion may turn into normal cervical epithelium, it has the chance to develop into a higher grade precancerous lesion, so in order to avoid higher grade precancerous lesion, appropriate treatment can be given, such as laser treatment, cryotherapy or Bohm light for appropriate treatment, which will necrotize and detach the lesion, and then grow new tissue. The purpose of the treatment is achieved. However, after treatment, it is important to go to the hospital for regular checkups to continue to rule out HPV infection and cervical epithelial lesions.
