Chinese medicines for thyroid nodules

Thyroid nodules are classified as gall tumors (equivalent to thyroid tumors) in traditional Chinese medicine, and the Chinese patent medicines for treating gall tumors include Xia Kucao Cao Granules, Wu Hai Gall Tumor Pills, and Internal Scrofula Pills. 1. Xia Gu Cao Granules. It has the efficacy of clearing fire and brightening eyes, dispersing knots and subduing swelling. It is used for headache, dizziness, scrofula, gall tumor, breast carbuncle swelling and pain; goiter, lymph node tuberculosis, breast hyperplasia. 2. Five Seas Gall Tumor Pill. It has the effect of softening and eliminating swelling. Used for phlegm nuclei (subcutaneous swelling like nuclei of nodules) gall tumors, scrofula (mainly refers to the neck lymph nodes tuberculosis), breast nuclei. Pregnant women should not take. Avoid eating cold, greasy, spicy. 3. Internal Scrofula Pill. It has the effect of softening and dispersing hard lumps. It is used for scrofula and phlegm nucleus or swelling or pain. Contraindicated for pregnant women. Caution should be exercised in case of loose stools.
