Whether acromioclavicular pain can be self-healed depends on different types of diseases, such as mild shoulder soft tissue injury can be self-healed, and the time of self-healing varies from person to person.
1. Mild shoulder soft tissue injury: If the shoulder is knocked or rubbed by external force, resulting in mild soft tissue injury, it can be self-healed through its own self-healing ability. During the recovery period, attention should be paid to local cleanliness and hygiene to avoid infection. Diet should avoid spicy and stimulating food.
2. Subacromial bursitis: generally not self-healing, characterized by pain, bursa adhesion and decreased shoulder joint function. Treatment includes local physical therapy, massage, acupuncture and so on. If the pain is severe, hydrocortisone acetate + procaine can be used for intra-bursal injection. During physical therapy or drug treatment, the range of motion of shoulder joint can be gradually increased and its function can be gradually restored.
3. Scapular fracture: if the scapula body fracture, scapular neck and scapular glenoid fracture, acromion fracture, rostral fracture of scapula, etc., with no obvious displacement or inconspicuous displacement, it is feasible to suspend the affected limb with a triangular towel. If the displacement is serious, traction manipulation should be performed after fixation with an abduction frame. For displaced scapular glenoid or acromion fractures, incision and reduction with internal fixation is required.
In addition to the above diseases, subdeltoid bursitis and calcific tendonitis can also cause the above symptoms, which need to be treated with regular medication under the guidance of a doctor, and are generally not curable.
