Diet recommendation for swollen gums

Different methods of treatment are used for gum swelling and pain caused by different etiologies, and it is impossible to say exactly which treatment is best.
If you have swollen and painful gums, you can first adjust your lifestyle, improve your diet and oral hygiene on your own and observe if it heals. If you still have swollen and painful gums frequently after making adjustments, it is recommended that you seek treatment promptly. If it is caused by gingivitis, the treatment needs to remove local irritants, and scaling to thoroughly remove plaque and tartar. A 1% to 3% hydrogen peroxide solution can be used to rinse the gingival sulcus and, if necessary, a chlorhexidine mouthwash. If the gum disease is caused by infection, antibacterial and antiviral drugs are used and local pain relief is provided.
