An isoechoic nodule is a thyroid nodule that has an isoechoic reflection. An isoechoic thyroid nodule is a description given on thyroid ultrasound, and isoechoic refers to an isoechoic reflex, meaning that the echoes of the nodule are equal to the echoes of normal thyroid tissue when compared to normal thyroid tissue. Thyroid nodule isoechoic echogenicity suggests that benign nodules are more likely, but also need to be combined with other manifestations, such as the size of the nodule, whether there are abnormal lymph node enlargement, whether the margins are clear, whether there are calcified foci within the lesion tissue, etc.; suspected of malignant nodules, it is recommended that a puncture biopsy be performed. If there are echogenic nodules in the thyroid gland, it is recommended to go to the hospital and ask the doctor to make a judgment.
