What does severe mixed ventilation dysfunction mean?

Severe mixed ventilatory dysfunction is defined as a combination of both obstructive and restrictive ventilatory dysfunction, and the degree of ventilatory dysfunction is severe, indicating that the patient has poor lung function.

Mixed ventilatory dysfunction is common in chronic granulomatous diseases such as tuberculosis, tuberculosis, cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis of the lungs, silicosis, pneumoconiosis, and congestive heart failure. Patients generally have poor lung function and often present with progressive dyspnea.

If there is any discomfort, medical attention should be sought and treatment should be provided as prescribed by the doctor.
