Metoprolol Tartrate Tablets or Metoprolol Succinate Extended-Release Tablets are beta-blockers with the effect of lowering heart rate, blood pressure, and cardiac output, and can be used to treat a variety of cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, aortic coarctation, arrhythmia and other cardiovascular diseases, and also be used in the treatment of heart failure, either alone or in combination.
