Contraindications to thyroid nodule puncture include: bleeding tendency, significant prolongation of bleeding and coagulation time, significant reduction of prothrombin activity; puncture needle route may damage adjacent vital organs; long-term use of anticoagulants; frequent coughing, swallowing and other difficult to cooperate with the person; refusal of invasive examination; puncture site infection, which must be treated before puncture; women menstruation is a relative contraindication. If thyroid ultrasonography suggests that the thyroid nodule has the possibility of malignant lesions, fine-needle aspiration can be used for pathologic examination to clarify the nature of the nodule. Thyroid nodule puncture should be carried out under the guidance of specialized doctors, and proper care should be taken after the puncture as prescribed by doctors to avoid serious consequences.
