What happened to the strong light spot in the fetal heart

A strong spot in the fetal heart is a description of the images seen by the physician during the ultrasound examination and does not indicate abnormal fetal development or suggest a congenital heart condition. It is only a manifestation, not a diagnosis. There are several possible conditions that show strong light spots in the fetal left ventricle: 1. Localized thickening of the tendons in the fetal ventricle or mineral deposition resulting in enhanced echogenicity during the examination. 2, fine punctate calcification foci appearing in the fetal heart cavity, if the light spot is small, it will become smaller and weaker with the development of the fetus and will disappear after late pregnancy, this is a simple punctate calcification foci, which is physiological in nature. 3, does not exclude the existence of malformations in the fetal heart, a small number of fetal chromosomal abnormalities, but this chance is very low, you can observe 1-2 months, if the light point is not absorbed or gradually increased, it is best to do fetal heart color, if necessary, amniocentesis, to confirm the health of the fetus. The majority of fetal heart spots are not a problem, the current ultrasound examination is very high definition, so some small manifestations can be checked out, just an ultrasound performance, do not worry too much, as long as the regular review to a large hospital can be.
