Hives long-term consumption of cetirizine may produce adverse reactions, such as dry mouth, drowsiness, fatigue, emotional instability, nausea, vomiting, kidney function abnormalities. 1. Dry mouth, drowsiness, fatigue: long-term consumption of cetirizine may produce adverse reactions such as dry mouth, drowsiness, fatigue. 2. Emotional instability: a few patients may experience emotional instability and headache. 3. Nausea, vomiting: a very small number of patients may experience nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal reactions. 4. Abnormal renal function: the drug is metabolized through the kidneys, and abnormal intestinal function requires regular examination of renal function. Cetirizine is used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis (including seasonal persistent allergic rhinitis and perennial persistent allergic rhinitis) and chronic idiopathic urticaria. It is contraindicated in persons who are hypersensitive to levocetirizine or any of the components of the product or to hydroxyzine, piperazine derivatives. Contraindicated in patients with advanced renal disease with creatinine clearance <10ml/min. Precautions:This product is not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age due to the current inability to halve the use of this product.Levocetirizine pediatric dosage form is recommended for children under 6 years of age. Caution is advised with alcohol consumption. Caution should be exercised in patients with urinary retention predisposing factors (e.g., spinal cord injury, prostatic hyperplasia). It should be used with caution in patients at risk for seizures and convulsions.
