Precautions. Correct use of tourniquet, should also correctly grasp the tourniquet hemostatic site, the degree of tightness, binding time, the correct mark, protective measures, tourniquet width and other matters. (1) Tourniquet site: generally wrapped in the limb muscle-rich parts. For arterial bleeding of the limb, it needs to be ligated at the proximal end of the wound; for venous bleeding, it needs to be ligated at the distal end of the wound. (2) Tightness: rubber tourniquet, elastic rubber band to just stop bleeding to the degree of tightness. (3) Binding time: general continuous hemostasis not more than 1 hour, if you need a long time to stop bleeding, should be 1 hour to relax once, each time to relax 1~2 minutes, do not loosen too fast. (4) Correct marking: the site of hemostasis as well as the time of hemostasis should be recorded accurately. (5) Protective measures: the hemostatic site of tourniquet must be padded for protection, and the tourniquet should not be tied directly on the skin. (6) Tourniquet width: the width of the tricot tourniquet is about 5 centimeters.
