Lasers are available to treat hemorrhoids, but only for relatively small areas. For milder internal hemorrhoids, the exogenous heat from the laser is mainly used to scorch the varicose vein masses and also to control the degree of bleeding from the internal hemorrhoids. So for less severe external hemorrhoids, the nucleus of their external hemorrhoids can be scorched and shrunk to stop the bleeding. Also after using laser treatment, you can apply topical compound keratanylate suppositories to the wound to help it heal. However, for larger hemorrhoids with bleeding and swelling, laser is not able to treat them and surgical removal is required as an option. So the laser is able to treat milder hemorrhoids to some extent, but if the hemorrhoids show serious symptoms, it is best to go to the hospital for surgical treatment.
