The probability of necrosis in navicular fractures is highly dependent on the type of fracture, as well as the type of treatment, with a general probability of necrosis of about 30%. After the fracture of navicular bone, the first step is to improve the local CT and three-dimensional reconstruction, to accurately determine the displacement of the fracture. If the fracture is not obviously displaced, cast immobilization can be chosen for conservative treatment. If the fracture is obviously displaced, affecting the healing of the fracture and functional recovery, it needs to be treated with incision and internal fixation surgery after the swelling subsides. After the surgery, it is necessary to take rest and avoid premature local exertion, avoid smoking and drinking, which can help to reduce the probability of fracture necrosis. Regular follow-ups are required, and no localized force should be applied until the fracture is completely healed.
