Patients with anemia should have their kidney function checked

Ms. Chen, 36 years old, used to be physically fit, but in the past six months, her face gradually became pale, her nails and mouth and lips were white, her strength decreased, she was weak, her energy was not concentrated, she was dizzy, and her memory was diminished. After going to many hospitals and hematology departments for examination, the patient had low hematocrit and was originally suffering from anemia, then there were suspicions of anemia caused by malnutrition and aplastic anemia. Anemia is one of the most common symptoms of chronic renal failure, and the degree of anemia is often consistent with the degree of kidney function damage. However, because chronic renal failure patients are more tolerant to anemia than normal people, many patients do not have obvious symptoms of anemia such as shortness of breath and chest tightness despite severe anemia. Therefore, anemic patients should have their kidney function checked to avoid delaying the diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease.
