Stroke hemiplegia hand and foot recovery

Stroke hemiplegia hand and foot recovery methods need to be decided according to the patient’s condition, if it is a complete hemiplegia stage, it can be recovered through massage, massage and passive activities. If it is an early stage, functional position can be placed, and if the patient partially recovers, he/she can recover through simple limb movement exercises.
1. Complete hemiplegia: If the patient is in the stage of complete hemiplegia, massage, tuina as well as passive activities can be used, and the patient can also be helped to practise turning over, getting up and sitting down.
In the early stage, the patient can be placed in functional positions, such as straightening the upper limbs and flexing the lower limbs.
2. Partial hemiplegia: For patients with partial functional recovery, simple limb movement exercises, such as turning over, sitting up, etc., and standing exercises can be performed by first holding the bed frame, standing on the back of a chair, and then standing unassisted, as well as lifting, abduction, external rotation of the upper limbs, extension and flexion of the elbow joints, extension and flexion of the lower limbs, and extension and flexion of the feet.
Rehabilitation training after hemiplegia should be carried out at an early stage, usually within 1 ~ 6 months after the onset of the disease is the best period for rehabilitation, and after the condition is stabilized, exercise should be actively carried out, paying attention to the gradual and orderly progress, and should not be rushed, so as to avoid causing serious damage to the body.
