There are two sets of natural teeth in a person’s life, the first set of teeth are milk teeth and the second set of teeth are permanent teeth. If permanent teeth are lost due to oral disease or accidental injury, there are no more natural teeth that can erupt to replace them, and they can only be restored through “dentures”. Traditional restorative dentistry methods include removable denture restorations and fixed crown and bridge restorations. However, these two methods have more or less defects in function and aesthetics, and can no longer meet the high demand of modern patients for “a perfect set of dentures”. After more than 40 years of research and innovation, dental implants, known as the “third tooth of mankind”, have been developed.
