Hospital-acquired infections, as the name implies, are infections that a patient acquires in the hospital, including infections that occur during hospitalization or are acquired during hospitalization and occur after discharge. Infections that occur after 48 hours of general admission are usually considered hospital-acquired infections, and these infections are often associated with being infected. Infectious diseases are a group of common and multi-infectious diseases caused by various pathogenic agents, and the prevention of infectious diseases includes managing the source of infection, cutting off the transmission route, and protecting susceptible populations in three ways. Commonly infected bacteria in hospitals include Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. Once the above bacterial infections are cultured, effective antibiotics are selected for treatment based on drug sensitivity tests.
