All kinds of questions about moles?

Many people are worried that they have melanoma after watching the movie “Do Not Disturb”. Should we remove the moles on our skin? Should I use laser or surgery? Moles do have the potential to become malignant and should be seen immediately in the following cases: rapid increase in size, satellite moles appearing around them, and repeated breakouts and bleeding. In addition, regarding the question of whether to treat pigmented moles with laser or surgery, it is recommended that moles within 3mm in diameter should be treated with laser, while larger ones should be removed surgically. The advantage of laser is that it does not leave a scar, however, after the treatment, there are easily residual mole cells and it needs to be repeated several times, so it is not suitable for larger diameter pigmented moles. Surgical excision is also recommended for mucous membrane moles, moles on repeatedly rubbed areas, and moles on the palms of hands and feet. At present, there are increasingly diverse treatment methods for various types of skin swellings and pigmented diseases, including freezing, various types of exfoliating and non-exfoliating lasers, radiofrequency and so on. It is both the patient’s and the doctor’s wish that proper judgment and timely consultation can ensure safe treatment with minimal scarring.
