How to read breast imaging reports?

Current breast imaging reports are generally based on the BIRADS scale: Grade 0 Additional imaging is needed for further evaluation. Grade 1 Negative No abnormal findings. Grade 2 Benign findings. Grade 3 Probable benign finding (malignancy rate less than 2%). Grade 4 Suspicious abnormality suggesting biopsy. Grade 5 Highly suspicious of malignancy (malignancy detection rate of 95% or more). Grade 6 Malignancy has been confirmed by biopsy. However, the imaging report is not a confirmatory criterion, it can only help the doctor to determine the condition. Pathology is the only gold standard to confirm the diagnosis.
