What to do about low menstrual flow due to uterine fibroids

The low menstrual flow of fibroids indicates that the fibroids do not affect the endometrium, probably because the fibroids are relatively small, this situation does not require treatment, observation is fine. If the interstitial fibroids or subplasmalemma fibroids are large and show symptoms of pressure, such as frequent urination, urgent urination or poor bowel movement, surgery is required. If fibroids, protrude into the endometrium, or submucosal fibroids can cause excessive menstrual flow and prolonged periods, this condition also needs to be treated and requires surgery to improve these symptoms. So with fibroids, the next step in treatment needs to be determined based on the patient’s age, symptoms, and whether or not they have fertility requirements.
