What are the symptoms of breast cancer?

  Breast is a very important sexual organ for women, and its health not only enables you to better nurture your next generation, but also adds to your personal charm. However, it is also susceptible to diseases, the most serious being breast cancer, which can be life-threatening if not detected in time.  What are the symptoms of breast cancer?  1. Areola abnormality: inflammatory breast cancer is characterized by inflammation-like skin; the color ranges from light red to deep red, which is limited at the beginning and soon expands to most of the breast skin and is accompanied by skin edema. The skin is thickened, rough and the surface temperature is increased.  2. Nipple changes: the nipple is flattened, retracted and sunken until it is completely retracted under the areola and the nipple cannot be seen. Sometimes the whole breast is elevated and both nipples are not on the same level.  3, nipple overflow: there are physiological and pathological nipple overflow. Physiological nipple overflow is mainly seen in women during pregnancy and lactation. Pathological nipple overflow refers to the non-physiological state of breast duct secretion. The latter is commonly referred to. Nipple overflow can be caused by a variety of breast diseases and is also easier for patients to notice. It is one of the main reasons why about 10% of patients come to the clinic, and its incidence is second only to breast lumps and breast pain among the symptoms of various breast diseases.  4. Breast pain: Although breast pain can be seen in many kinds of breast diseases, pain is not a common symptom of breast tumor, no matter benign or malignant breast tumor is usually always painless. According to a study, the detection rate of breast cancer will be higher in postmenopausal women with breast pain and glandular thickening. Of course, tumors with inflammation can be painful with swelling or pressure. In advanced stage, if the tumor invades the nerve or enlarged axillary lymph nodes compress or invade the brachial plexus nerve, the shoulder may be swollen and painful.
