Zithromax Pediatric Usage

Zithromax is an imported azithromycin that is available in clinical form as a suspension, tablet, and injection. It is commonly used in children as a suspension, which is taken orally once daily, dissolved in water, stirred well before taking, and can be taken with food. The dosage of Zithromax in children is calculated as follows: 10 mg/kg of body weight on day 1 and 5 mg/kg of body weight on days 2-5, which is the clinical course of treatment for infections. Especially in the case of severe mycoplasma pneumonia infection, a second course of treatment is required.
