What is fracture rehab?

Fracture rehabilitation training adopts methods related to the specific conditions of patients, mainly including muscle strength training, joint mobility training, proprioceptive training and so on.
1. Muscle strength training: patients can start muscle strength training around the fracture site at an early stage, and gradually go from muscle contraction and diastole to anti-resistance training, so as to prevent muscle atrophy, promote the recovery of patients’ muscle strength, and restore normal function as soon as possible.
2. Joint mobility training: Early in the rehabilitation therapist’s help to carry out passive movement, and gradually transition to active movement. To avoid joint stiffness and other complications.
3. Proprioception training: Proprioception plays a role in coordinating the body’s movement. After fracture, proprioception will be reduced, so it is necessary to exercise. Active joint flexion and extension exercises, closed-eye proprioceptive training in a calibrated position, and bottle rolling exercises can be adopted.
Rehabilitation treatment of fracture is very important to prevent complications, promote fracture healing and restore function as early as possible. It is recommended that patients under the guidance of a professional doctor as soon as possible to carry out rehabilitation treatment to avoid adverse consequences.
