Kidney deficiency sweating is a yin or yang deficiency

Excessive sweating due to kidney deficiency may be due to yin deficiency or yang deficiency, which should be identified according to the symptoms.
Excessive sweating caused by kidney yin deficiency: it is mostly manifested as night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping after waking up), accompanied by lumbar and knee soreness and weakness, heart-heat (heat in the heart of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness of the heart and chest), hot flashes, flushing of the cheekbones, seminal emission, red tongue, little or no moss, and a fine pulse (the pulse is becoming narrower and finer and the rate of it is accelerating).
Sweating caused by kidney yang deficiency is often manifested as spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, aggravated by sweating with a little movement), i.e., sweating during the day, aggravated by activities, in addition to soreness of the waist and knees, coldness, cold limbs, long and clear urination, frequent urination, fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical exhaustion), pale red tongue, thin white moss, and a thin pulse.
