Acute pancreatitis treatment standard

Acute pancreatitis is mostly secondary to biliary system diseases, overeating or alcohol abuse, and patients have obvious abdominal pain, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting and other related symptoms, which need to be treated systematically. Continuous gastrointestinal decompression can drain digestive fluid outside the body and reduce the impact of abdominal distension on the patient. Because of severe abdominal distension, it can also affect the patient’s breathing. Secondly, patients with pancreatic cancer are prone to combined abdominal infections, and in severe cases, infective shock may occur. Thirdly, intravenous nutritional support, inhibition of glandular secretion and protection of digestive tract mucosa should be administered as symptomatic treatment.
