Can you drink tea for migraine?

Migraine sufferers should not drink tea as much as possible, as drinking tea may trigger headache attacks. Migraine is a neurovascular headache, which is a primary headache disorder. Patients exhibit recurrent fluctuating headaches, and may experience nausea and vomiting. Most patients have triggers for the onset of migraine, such as drinking coffee and beverages containing caffeine, drinking strong tea, drinking wine or beer, eating chocolate, eating foods containing tyramine, such as pickled and smoked products may induce headache attacks, and may also be triggered by eating certain fruits that may trigger a migraine, such as when eating oranges, grapefruit and lemons, may cause the patient to have a migraine. It may also be due to mental stress, anxiety, depression, painful crying, or certain light or sound stimuli that induce headache attacks, so migraine sufferers should try to avoid the above risk factors.
