Hai Long is the dried body of Diao Hai Long, Sharp Hai Long and Mimic Hai Long of the family Hai Long. It is sweet, salty and warm in nature, and belongs to the liver and kidney meridians. It can be used to treat impotence and spermatorrhea, kidney yang insufficiency, obstruction in the abdomen (the appearance of tangible or intangible lumps in the abdomen, with a feeling of distension and pain), bruises and injuries, scrofula and phlegm nuclei (mainly refers to cervical lymph node nodule tuberculosis).
Hai Long is used externally to treat carbuncles and boils. It has the efficacy of strengthening yang and warming the kidney, subduing swelling and dispersing lumps.
However, the efficacy of Hailong in the treatment of the above diseases is related to individual differences in physical condition and degree of illness, so the therapeutic effect cannot be generalized.
