Tubular adenoma of the colon has a certain recurrence rate and develops from inflammatory polyps, which have a certain chance of malignancy. Patients with tubular adenoma are advised to have a biopsy to determine whether it is benign or malignant. If there is no malignancy, early surgery is recommended to remove the adenoma, which is more effective and has a lower recurrence rate and will not affect the patient’s life and quality of life. If malignancy has occurred in colonic tubular adenoma, it needs to be judged according to the specific clinical stage. Patients with colonic tubular adenoma must be reviewed well after surgery, preferably every six months, and if recurrence occurs, it should be treated promptly.
