Pientzehuang cannot be taken for fatty liver, and the drug has no effect on treating fatty liver. Pientzehuang mainly has the efficacy of clearing heat and removing toxins, cooling blood and removing blood stasis, subduing swelling and relieving pain.
Pientzehuang belongs to Chinese patent medicine, which is composed of traditional Chinese medicines such as cow’s rhubarb, musk, panax notoginseng, snake gall, etc. It is mainly used for treating acute and chronic viral hepatitis caused by heat and poisonous blood stasis, carbuncle and gangrene (a kind of poisonous sores, which occurs in the surface of the body, the limbs, the internal organs of the acute suppurative disease), furuncles, anonymous swollen poisons, bruises and all kinds of inflammation.
The adverse reaction of taking Pientzehuang is not clear. Pregnant women should refrain from taking the medicine; prohibit eating spicy and greasy food during the period of taking the medicine; those who have no improvement of the symptoms after 3 days of taking the medicine or those who are accompanied by systemic symptoms such as chills and fever during the period of taking the medicine should go to the hospital for consultation; those who have violent reaction of redness, swelling and heat pain in local lesions and those who have multiple pus heads on the top of sores at the initial stage should go to the hospital for consultation.
It is recommended to take the drug under the guidance of a physician, it is not recommended to take the drug on their own, so as not to cause adverse reactions.
