What’s going on with the skin pain that’s apparently asymptomatic?

Skin pain with no symptoms on the surface may be caused by muscle strain, herpes zoster, hot and cold stimulation.
1. Muscle strain: if the patient is usually in sports, the activities are more strenuous, it will lead to excessive local muscle pulling, which will trigger inflammatory exudation, so that the patient appears to have skin pain, the surface is asymptomatic, and at the same time, accompanied by pressure pain, activity limitation and so on.
2. Herpes zoster: if the patient’s resistance is relatively poor, it will lead to herpes zoster virus infection. Herpes zoster virus will move along the nerves and transfer to the skin innervated by the nerves, causing localized inflammation and necrosis, leading to skin pain and surface asymptomatic condition.
3. Hot and cold stimulation: If the patient’s local skin has just been stimulated by a cold substance and then suddenly comes into contact with a hot substance, this will stimulate the local nerve endings, thus triggering the skin pain surface asymptomatic condition.
When the skin pain surface asymptomatic, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, early formal treatment.
