Myasthenia gravis crisis is a symptom of myasthenia gravis, especially when the respiratory muscle involvement is aggravated to a certain degree, the patient will experience dyspnea, respiratory failure, and loss of consciousness, which is known as myasthenia gravis crisis. Once myasthenia gravis crisis occurs, the patient needs to be given emergency tracheal intubation and ventilator-assisted breathing. If the condition is not available, for example, if the patient is not in the hospital but at home, it may be fatal. Therefore, in patients with generalized myasthenia gravis, a high degree of vigilance must be exercised in the event of respiratory muscle involvement. For such patients, the use of medication must be cautious, myasthenia gravis drugs must be taken on time under the guidance of a doctor, and not be able to arbitrarily increase or decrease the amount. Because sometimes too much myasthenia gravis medication can also lead to a crisis called cholinergic crisis. It is the opposite of myasthenia gravis crisis, which is caused by myasthenia gravis medication, so for more severe myasthenia gravis patients, both myasthenia gravis crisis and cholinergic crisis caused by medication may occur.
