What causes dizziness

There are many possible causes of dizziness, mainly including neurological lesions, ear diseases, cardiovascular diseases, toxic diseases, ophthalmogenic diseases, motion sickness, and after head or neck injuries. Among them, dizziness often occurs in the elderly, mostly due to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and in young people, mostly due to mental stress, work pressure and lack of sleep.
In most cases, dizziness can be relieved after adequate rest, but if it persists and cannot be relieved, or if it recurs several times, it should be taken seriously and treated by a doctor in a timely manner.
