What to do with spider moles on the face

A spider nevus is also called a spider-like capillary dilation, because it looks like a spider. It is a benign lesion that can occur in normal people, especially children, patients with liver disease or some pregnant women. Spider nevus can be treated by freezing, laser, electrocautery or diathermy, which destroy the central spider body, but it can recur repeatedly. In patients with repeated recurrences despite multiple treatments, local excision can be used. In some people, such as pregnant women, some of the rash can subside after pregnancy, and further treatment can be done for the lesions that do not subside after pregnancy.
