Moles can be removed in a variety of ways, such as laser treatment and surgical excision. Mole is the most common benign skin tumor and can be divided into junctional nevus, compound nevus and intradermal nevus according to the pathological type; junctional nevus is smaller and the other two types of nevus are larger. When the diameter of nevus does not exceed 3mm, the nevus cells can be removed by laser cautery on the skin surface, and the skin can achieve the purpose of nevus removal after the epidermis recovers through its own repair function. When the diameter of moles exceeds 3mm, they are often deeper and it is recommended to remove them surgically after local anesthesia, which is a thorough treatment, less painful, and better recovery after surgery, and the recovery time is usually about one week. Patients should go to regular medical units for mole removal treatment and avoid going to small clinics to order potions or liquid nitrogen freezing, which can easily leave scars. Proper post-operative care will help skin recovery.
