What to do if you find nodules in your lungs a year after removing kidney cancer

After one year after kidney cancer resection, nodules are found in lungs, first of all, complete the examination to clarify the nature of nodules, and then according to different causes, anti-tumor treatment, anti-tuberculosis treatment, anti-inflammatory and sterilization treatment will be given. The reasons to be considered include lung metastasis of kidney cancer, kidney cancer combined with tuberculosis, kidney cancer complicated with pneumonia, etc. According to different causes, the following treatment measures will be taken. 1. If lung metastasis of kidney cancer occurs and forms nodules, if it is a single small lung nodule, surgical resection of nodule metastasis can be considered. If it is multiple lung metastases, systemic chemotherapy, radiotherapy and interventional therapy such as gemcitabine and cisplatin can be chosen. 2. If tuberculosis mycobacteria invade the lungs of renal cancer patients and cause tuberculosis, standardized anti-tuberculosis treatment can be given, and commonly used drugs include isoniazid, rifampicin, levofloxacin and so on. 3. Bacteria invade lungs and cause pneumonia in kidney cancer patients, which will also manifest lung nodules, and antibiotics are usually chosen for anti-inflammatory and bactericidal treatment for bacteria. If kidney cancer combined with lung metastasis is suspected or diagnosed, it is recommended to go to regular hospitals to evaluate the condition and follow the doctor’s instructions to avoid delaying the condition.
