Blood pressure of 148/93mmHg is higher than normal blood pressure value, if the retest blood pressure is still abnormal can be diagnosed as hypertension, retest blood pressure is not high may be normal. Normal systolic blood pressure should be 90-139 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure 60-89 mmHg. 90-119 mmHg systolic and 60-79 mmHg diastolic are considered to be normal blood pressure, while 120-139 mmHg systolic and/or 80-89 mmHg diastolic are considered to be normal high-value blood pressure, with the latter being at increased risk of developing hypertension. Hypertension can be diagnosed by 3 repeated measurements of systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg on non-simultaneous days. Because of the fluctuating and circadian rhythm of blood pressure, repeated measurements are needed to minimize the risk of missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis due to occasional errors. Blood pressure 148/93mmHg is higher than the normal blood pressure range, the blood pressure should be retested on a non-same day, if it is still higher than the normal range, then hypertension can be diagnosed; if the retested blood pressure is within the normal range, it may be the blood pressure fluctuation or emotional fluctuation, exercise and other causes of blood pressure rise for a short period of time, and the overall blood pressure still belongs to the normal state. It is recommended that the patient should repeat the blood pressure test, and if the test is still abnormal, the patient should consult a doctor in time.
