Depending on the degree of damage, six-year-old teeth can be restored by filling, root canal treatment or post-extraction prosthetic restoration.
1. Most of the missing teeth are caused by caries or occlusal trauma; if the missing scope does not reach the nerve, filling treatment can be carried out, i.e., the missing part is repaired with oral materials such as composite resin; if the missing scope is too large, inlay or full crown restoration can be carried out in order to better restore the shape and function of the teeth.
2. If the degree of tooth loss reaches the nerve, and symptoms of pulpitis or apical inflammation appear; then root canal treatment, i.e., nerve extraction treatment must be carried out first, and the necrotic and inflamed nerve will be cleaned up, and then the tooth loss will be repaired.
3. If the tooth loss is so severe that it cannot be preserved by the above methods, the tooth can only be extracted and then restored with a denture such as removable denture, fixed denture or dental implant.
It is recommended to consult a doctor for a clear diagnosis of a broken six-age tooth, and timely and appropriate treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
