Bone tumor is a tumor that occurs in the bone or its appendages. x-ray has a holistic view and can reflect the key information to identify the nature of the tumor. Benign bone tumor has swelling growth, clear lesion boundary, regular bone shape, no periosteal reaction, no soft tissue mass around bone, no fracture, etc.; malignant bone tumor has more obvious bone destruction, irregular bone shape, blurred lesion boundary, soft tissue mass around bone, and easy to form pathological fracture. The composition of bone tumors is diverse, and the images of the same lesion are different on X-ray plain film, while the images of different lesions are similar on X-ray. Therefore, more advanced examinations and pathological diagnosis are needed to clarify the nature of the tumor.
