Hepatocellular carcinoma is a kind of malignant tumor of digestive system which is difficult to treat. Generally, there is no chance of surgical treatment in late stage, and only interventional chemotherapy and targeted therapy can be applied, but the chance of taking targeted drugs can be cured is very slim. Generally speaking, the target drug for advanced liver cancer is mainly sorafenib, which is not too efficient in Chinese population, probably with an overall efficiency of about 30%, and many of them also produce serious side effects, such as diarrhea, which may lead to suspension of the use of this target drug. Nowadays, there are some other targeted drugs available, such as levatinib and the domestic apatinib, which can be tried for targeted therapy of advanced liver cancer. However, there is no way to determine the specific prolonged survival time, and we can only see it while treating.
