Do you need glasses for 100 degrees of myopia?

The need for glasses for 100 degrees of myopia is usually determined by age. For children with 100 degrees of myopia, glasses are usually recommended, while adults with 100 degrees of myopia may decide whether to wear glasses based on their needs. Children’s vision is unstable and if they do not wear glasses in time to correct their vision, coupled with longer eye time, it may increase the degree of myopia and its growth rate, and may also affect learning; while adults’ vision is relatively stable and the need for glasses can be decided according to their own needs. If the current vision can meet your own needs, you can do without glasses. If the vision is not enough when looking at a distance, you will need glasses and wear them when you have the need to see things at a distance such as driving. Adults who are 100 degrees nearsighted and have no effect on themselves can do without glasses. However, if you need to use your eyes for a long time, it is recommended to have glasses. Be sure to have an optometry before dispensing glasses, and accurately measure the pupil distance and prescription before dispensing glasses.
