Solutions for acne

Depending on the severity of the condition, acne can be treated with lifestyle and dietary adjustments, topical medication, oral medication, physical therapy and other measures.
1. Adjustment of living and dietary habits: All acne patients should live a regular life and avoid staying up late, pay attention to personal hygiene, choose appropriate cleansing products, and eat less high-sugar, high-fat and spicy foods.
2. Topical medication: General acne patients can be treated with topical medication, including retinoids, benzoyl peroxide/antibiotic creams and azelaic acid.
3. Oral medication: Oral medication, such as antibiotics, isotretinoin, hormone drugs, etc., can be given under doctor’s supervision.
4. Physical therapy: including photodynamic therapy and laser therapy.
Mild acne can be treated with over-the-counter topical medications, while severe acne is recommended to go to the hospital for standardized diagnosis and treatment to avoid improper treatment or poor results.
