What if the drainage tube causes intracranial infection and the hydrocephalus increases after the drainage tube is removed?

In neurosurgery, doctors often encounter patients with hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is a relatively common condition. Due to certain cranio-cerebral disorders that can disrupt the equilibrium of intracranial cerebral crest fluid, or excessive production of cerebral crest fluid, or impaired circulation and absorption of cerebral crest fluid, the stock of intracranial cerebral crest fluid increases and hydrocephalus forms, resulting in enlargement of the ventricular system and the subarachnoid space. For the treatment of hydrocephalus, in the acute stage, drainage tubes are usually placed for extracranial drainage, and then internal shunts, such as ventriculoperitoneal shunts, are performed after stabilization. However, problems may occur during the process of extracranial drainage, such as intracranial infection caused by the drainage tube, and the hydrocephalus increases after the drainage tube is removed. In many hospitals in many places, there is a high chance that this will happen with conventional treatments for hydrocephalus. What should be done about this? To solve such a problem, a whole set of specialized techniques of brain crest fluid department is needed. Through a series of comprehensive and systematic medical dispositions, various complications can be effectively prevented and intracranial infections can be prevented, and for intracranial infections that occur after treatment in other hospitals, they can be well controlled by a whole set of countermeasures. After strict treatment and control, we can then perform brain crest fluid shunt surgery to completely solve the problem of hydrocephalus, so as to achieve “permanent or lifelong” retention of brain crest fluid in the patient’s shunts and to maintain normal life or the best brain function, rather than incomplete recovery. Such a comprehensive treatment of cerebral crest fluid has proven to be an effective means of treating all types of hydrocephalus and preventing various complications.
