Children with high cardiac enzymes usually recover in a few days

The recovery time for high cardiac enzymes in children is related to the degree of cardiac enzyme elevation, clinical symptoms, treatment modalities, and the child’s physical condition. The normal range of cardiac enzymes in children is relatively high compared to adults, but there are certain limits to the range. If the elevation of cardiac enzymes is not obvious, the child is in good spirits, can eat and sleep, and does not complain of other discomforts, there is usually no cause for concern and the child can return to normal within a week. If the elevation of cardiac enzymes is high, accompanied by fever, palpitations, chest tightness and other discomforts, it is recommended that the child promptly consult a pediatric physician or cardiovascular clinic to check whether there is a viral infection causing myocarditis, and cooperate with the doctor to actively treat it. The condition may gradually improve with treatment, and it usually takes half a month or even longer for the cardiac enzymes to return to normal. If the child is in good health, the recovery time is usually shortened accordingly. It is recommended that the child be reviewed regularly to test cardiac enzymes and other indicators, pay attention to rest, maintain a reasonable diet, and eat more vegetables and fruits to improve the body’s resistance.
