Patients with inflammation of the tonsils do not need surgery. If the patient has only an occasional inflammation of the tonsils, oral antibiotics, such as cefixime dispersible tablets and Pudilan anti-inflammatory tablets, can be used to treat the symptoms, and the patient’s inflammation of the tonsils will improve. If the patient has repeated inflammation of the tonsils within a year, each inflammation requires antibiotics and antipyretic drugs to relieve the symptoms. Surgical removal may be considered. If the tonsils become inflamed repeatedly, it is easy to induce an autoimmune reaction, acute myocarditis or acute nephritis, or even involvement of other organs. It is recommended that the patient be removed, and after removal the patient needs to be hospitalized for about a week. In about a month or so, the patient’s condition will be significantly improved, and the diet should be as ambient and liquid as possible.
