In the process of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for patients with cardiac and respiratory arrest, the following operation indexes should be achieved. In terms of chest compressions, it should be ensured that the chest compressions are fast and powerful, the frequency of compressions is controlled at 100-120 times/min, the depth of compressions should be not less than 5cm for adults, but not more than 6cm, the patient’s thorax should be completely recovered after each compression, and the time between compression and relaxation should be approximately equal. The duration of compression and relaxation should be approximately equal. Avoid interruption of chest compressions as much as possible, and ensure that the compression fraction is greater than or equal to 60%. Before establishing an artificial airway, in adult patients, whether single or double CPR is used, compression and ventilation should be carried out in accordance with the principle of the compression and ventilation ratio of 30:2. When an advanced artificial airway is established for the patient, the frequency of ventilation should be 10 times/minute. In the process of artificial ventilation, the patient’s airway should be opened first, and the methods of opening the airway are mainly tilting the head and lifting the chin and supporting the jaw. In the process of artificial ventilation, the patient should be calmly inhaled, and then blow to the patient accordingly. As long as the patient’s thorax is lifted up, do not over-ventilate, and after the establishment of advanced airway, the ventilation frequency implemented is uniformly 10 times/minute. Personal protective equipment should be in place during artificial ventilation. In addition, tidal volume should be controlled at 500-600 ml for adult patients.
