It can be seen whether the lymph node gate is good or bad

It is good to see the lymph node gate. A normal lymph node is oval or bean-shaped, with a protrusion at one end and a depression at the other, and the depression is called a lymph node gate. If the lymph nodes appear enlarged, the lymph node gate may disappear, but it does not mean that the lymph nodes with enlargement are necessarily lymph nodes with tumor metastasis. Routinely, if the lymph node shape changes from oval to round, or if the lymph node gate disappears, it is more likely that the tumor has metastasized. If the swollen lymph nodes are visible to the naked eye or on imaging, they need to be completely removed during surgery, and then sent to pathology for examination.
